Meet Triangle. He is going to play a sneaky trick on his friend, Square. Or so Triangle thinks. . . . With this first tale in a new trilogy, partners in crime Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen will have readers wondering just who they can trust in a richly imagined world of shapes. Visually stunning and full of humour, here is a perfectly paced treat that could come only from the minds of two of today’s most irreverent — and talented — picture book creators.
Phillip Aged 3
Phillip loved this book with the very sneaky Triangle, and tricky square, he was enthralled in the world of shapes and has become a permanent fixture in his book collection.
it’s quirky and fun and the illustrations captivate you on your journey with the shapes
Huntingdon class 2-4 gave the book 4 stars
the class enjoyed the tale of triangle in his triangle house in a land of triangles and his quest to play a sneaky trick on square in the land of squares.
they thought the illustrations were great and highlighted the story they were different to other books with the simplicity of them.
they were concerned that they had played tricks on each other as its not nice to scare people.
